Treasure Hunt in the Dark

- indoor AMBER adventure with UV lights

Join us for a very special treasure hunt — indoors and in the dark! We invite young and old to a fascinating experience on our artificial amber beach and in the aquarium exhibition, where with a UV lamp in your hand you have to find the golden treasures and other things hiding in the dark.

In the dim light, the UV lamps reveal the otherwise hidden amber, which illuminates with a very special glow. The activity takes place in dry weather and shelter, and we guide you through the techniques to spot amber among sand and stones. Along the way, we tell exciting stories and facts about the origin of amber and how it has traveled for millions of years from ancient forests to the shores of Denmark.

Price: 179 kr for children 3-12 years old. 199 kr for people over 12 years old. Children under 3 years old can be brought free of charge. The price includes entrance to Jyllandsakvariet Hvide Sande
