The big Christmas weekend in Thyborøn takes place on the weekend of November 30 and December 1, where you can, among other things, meet Santa Claus, take a trip with the tractor bus and get something good to eat!
You will find the Christmas activities in the area of Jyllandsakvariet and Iskunsten in Thyborøn, but the cozy Christmas atmosphere does not stop there. The entire area between the aquarium and The Red Houses (De Røde Huse) has the smell of Christmas and the cozy atmosphere buzzes wherever you go.
Here are experiences for the whole family and enough Christmas fun for everyone!
Together with our good friends at Hornvarefabrikken, the Surf Bar, Geopark Vestjylland, Sea War Museum, Clubben Streetfood and House No. 5 we have arranged a lot of Christmas activities all weekend.

Christmas ticket
Buy this year's Christmas ticket
With the Christmas ticket, you can visit the Christmas event in Jyllandsakvariet and Iskunsten. It is also possible to get a seat on one of the many departures with the Christmas bus this weekend. These tours on the tractor bus are included in the Christmas ticket.
On top of this, you will receive a ticket to enter the big Christmas raffle, where you can win lots of prizes!

Take a ride on the Christmas bus
A Christmas tradition
As it is tradition at our Christmas event, the Christmas bus will take tours through town.
There will be departures every half hour with the first starting at 10.30 am and the last being at 4.00 pm - both days.
The tour last about 20 minutes and is a cozy drive through town with Christmas music in the speakers.
Boarding and disembarking is at the car park outside the Jyllandsakvariet's main entrance.
There is a limited number of seats on board, which are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Christmas magic captured in ice
In Iskunsten you can experience this year's Christmas exhibition in Iskunsten. "Christmas in the North" can be experienced 2024.11.23-2025.01.19.
Iskunsten is Denmark's only year-round, indoor exhibition of ice art and ice sculptures. This year's Christmas exhibition is buzzing with Christmas cheer. Discover how the exhibiting artists have interpreted Christmas.
Entrance to the exhibition is included in the Christmas ticket.
Santa Claus is arriving by boat
Meet Santa at the harbour
Again this year, Santa will arrive to Thyborøn by safari boat. Bring your family to the harbour and him, when he docks the boat and joins the Christmas festivities.
He will arrive Saturday, November 30th at 9.30 am in the Marina, Havnegade 5C.
Santa will hand out free candy to all children!
The towns Christmas tree is lit
Help light the town's Christmas tree
On Saturday 30/11 at approximately 9.45 am you can help light the city's beautiful Christmas tree at Fisketorvet.
Santa Claus, who has just arrived at the port, needs the help of all the town's children to light the Christmas lights on the tree. Come by and join the Christmas party at the harbour.
There will be free candy for all children!
