Join a walk through the town and harbour in a small, authentic "perle" on the West Coast of Denmark
Thorsminde is a charming, small fishing village on the West Coast. The "authentic" is always just on the tip of the tongue, when walking around in Thorsminde, where 15-20 cutters still actively fish from. They are located on the westside of the impressive lock, that is one of the characteristics of Thorsminde. This is also the location of the town's fish auction and smokehouse. At the latter we are going to pop in for a sample of their delicious products.
On the eastside is where the little boats, that the fjord fishermen use, are. It is also on this side, that you can experience a rich birdlife. And there are some amazing hiking trails by the fjord, which offer great nature experiences. The trails are part of Naturpark Nissum Fjord, who work to enhance the access to nature and the great experiences, you can have over and over again, when you move about in this area.
The rough Northern Sea has impacted life in Thorsminde greatly. Join a tour through the town and listen to the stories from the harbour, fishery, nature, and much more in Thorsminde.
