Join us on an exciting, guided tour of the port's 70-year-old freeze house before opening hours

Today, the place houses exhibitions of ice art and the port's history over 100 years. Learn the story of the old days with the large blocks of ice that were crushed before the fishermen got them aboard their boats, and see how the harbour and fishing have changed over time.

The indoor exhibition of ice art is the only one of its kind in Europe. The guide tells about the special process of creating the crystal clear blocks and how the current artists work with the artworks.
